   Thanks for posting on Microsoft Customs.

   We are really sorry to say that the Floppy Deejay Drive has no compatibility with Windows and there is no support to floppy disk drives.

   For further more than clarifications I would suggest yous to cheque/Contact with the manufacturer.

   keep the states posted if you are facing any other issue with Windows.

   Later six hours this worked for me. I take the Teac drive also and it appeared to install correctly, simply did not testify upwardly in Windows Explorer. During a kicking up the drive clicks and spins similar 3.5" drives did on older systems if there is diskette in the drive.
   I opened "Devices and Printers" in the Control Panel and the drive was in that location. With the diskette still inserted, correct click on the Teac icon and select "Browse files > Floppy Disk Bulldoze (A". File Explorer should open up and you lot will meet the files on the
   floppy listed. You will now see "Floppy Disk Drive (A" listed nether "This PC". Right click on "Floppy Disk Bulldoze (A" and select "Pin to Quick admission". "Floppy Disk Drive (A" should announced under "Quick access". Although "Floppy Disk Drive (A" will disappear
   from "This PC" afterwards you close and reopen File Explorer, it will remain under "Quick admission" and y'all can access it from there. Information technology appears that W10 at present thinks at that place is an internal drive "(A" considering if you right click it "Eject" does non appear every bit an option.
   Why it disappears from "This PC" is a mystery.

   Note: On my car (ASUS) if I take out the diskette or disconnect the drive, "Floppy Disk Drive (A" stays in the "Quick access" menu. So no need to keep a diskette in the drive all the time or even have information technology connected all the time. Worked fine afterward I reconnected
   it.

   Annotation one: Under "Devices and Printers" the Drive was identified equally "TEAC FD-05PUB". If you lot go something unlike (assuming you have a TEAC) try running "Troubleshoot" and run across if that corrects it.

   Hello all

   I take Lenovo Thinkcentre desktop computer with Windows 10 (build 1809) upwardly to date!

   The figurer works very well and does not accept a floppy disk, never have and will never have because no port is provided on the motherboard for this!

   Yet in the "Device Manager", a driver fault for the floppy drive appears (normal there is n ...) and the floppy deejay icon appears in the workstation!

   I hands managed to delete the icon in the workstation from the registry, but I tin not find how to disable this "floppy drive" in the device list !!

   Of course there is no option in the BIOS of the automobile because (as I said before) no drive is provided on the motherboard.

   Does anyone accept the fox to "erase" this device in the Windows 10 "Device Director"?
